My family left for my uncle's house around 6 and the first bus journey past by without anything interesting happening. The second however, proved to be quite an interesting experience. We without boarded the bus without any incident and the bus began journey. Not long after, the bus stopped at another bus-stop and thats where the problems started arising. For some unknown reason, the bus door was jammed and kept opening and closing repeatedly. My father began to joke that the bus was haunted but as the bus could not move due to the door being opened, the bus driver gave us free ride tickets and we waited for the next bus. It had came to our attention that our bus was blocking many other buses and causing a lot of inconvenience to the rest,

Just after the bus driver had set up a road signal, the bus door suddenly closed and he could get the bus moving again. We all happily piled into the bus and it restarted on its journey. Not long after, the bus door suddenly jammed again but this time it was in the middle of the road. Luckily for us, the bus driver manage to close it and it continued all the way to our bus stop where the bus door jammed again. This time, all the passengers alighted and my family and I walked towards the flat of our uncle's house. When we reached the level of where the house was situated on, we noticed that the bus that we just took had managed to move again. But this time, it was only a stop away from the interchange so it was pretty safe.

By the time we reached the house, the rest of the people had already begun. After apologising for our late arrival, we joined them for dinner. There was a wide spread of dishes and I was spoiled for choice. A lot of my favourite dishes were there and I could not stop my mouth from salivating. (It still is at the thought of the food.. now i'm hungry...) Here are the steps for what I did then:

1.Grab food with chopsticks

2. Dip in sauce (vegetables not applicable)

3. Put in mouth

4.Chew

5.Swallow

6.Drink soup

7.???

8.PROFIT

After dinner, all of us trooped into the living room and sat on the sofas and chairs reading newspaper, watching television and eating new year goodies. My cousin arrived slightly later after we finished our dinner and it was pretty obvious from her hair and make-up that she got caught in the rain but none of us really did point out that her mascara was smeared so she went to join my parents who were still eating.

Finally at about 9.30 (my cousin had left earlier), my family and I bid the rest farewell and went on the long journey back home...
